Gregory Deva 60 (Egyptian Blue Small) Review

I bought the pack in 2007 for a 90 mile through-hike. I have backpacked about 500 truely rugged miles with this pack and here is my 2 cents: This is a sturdy pack with excellent padding in the waist belt and shoulder straps. Plenty of pockets and good access to inside. My pack's total weight, including 2L of water ranged between 38-53lb. I am 5' 3" and 110 pounds so I have the XS which cuts the capacity of the pack down to 57 Liters instead of 60. This is a pretty small pack...........couldn't really get my sleeping bag inside.........I have recently purchased the Deva 85 just so I can pack some crackers or bread w/o them getting mashed. I do not plan on carrying more weight but can now get my sleeping bag inside along with everything else. I usually bring a Hubba Hubba tent and could not fit that in the Deva 60.
Bottom line: it's a very well made pack, good for weekend trips or backpackers who travel super light and have nice people to do food drops, etc.

McKleinUSA GLEN ELLYN 94361 Green Leather Detachable-Wheeled Women's Case Review

What sets this bag appart from others is its femininity. I have seen many wheeled cases... all of them "luggage looking" in construction... and couldn't bring myself to purchase one. I'm a woman, I have style, I don't want to be lumped with all the men but rather stand out on my own. This bag allows me to do that. It's made of nice quality leather, the stitching is strong, and it holds quite a bit. It's not for those who need to lug a ton, but my 15.4" laptop fits the sleeve (snug, but it does fit), there's room for a few files and my leather portfolio, and in the front area I carry a power cord, extra USB connector, and some basics like pens, extra discs, etc. The detachable wheels are a GREAT idea. It does take a few minutes to remove them and then conceal the open zippers, and it's not the most graceful task, so I'd recommend removing it prior to meeting your clients! That being said, those minor inconveniences are a small price to pay for the ability to relieve my neck and shoulder of the burdon of a briefcase.

I purchased the red and it's gorgeous. It's a show-stopping shade very similar to the color of lipstick the starlets wore in the 50's and 60's. I'd recommend looking at all of the colors directly on the McKlein website ([...]) because the interior and thread colors are sometimes ususual and obvious (such as what appears to be red thread with black leather, and orange thread with brown leather). The interiors also come in different colors (mine is orange). I found the McKlein representatives very helpful in answering any questions I had.

Oh, if anyone is interested in the pink, the rep told me it was closer to a bubble-gum pink than a blush pink :)

The title says it. My wife loves this dress. However, beware that it is rather thin (not cheap) fabric that is very clingy. Proper undergarment choice is a must, and more modest ladies will not want to go sans bra/panties since like I said it is very clingy and will show off even the smallest of "lady bits" like bikini area and breast coverage. I was a little sceptical to buy this since there were no reviews when I placed the order. But I am happy with the product based on my 4 day NY trip. I am not very strong, so in the past I have had trouble in lifting and placing my luggage in the cabin space in air planes. This luggage is very light and at the same time spacious. I was able to pack 5 sets of clothes, 2 pairs of shoes, a few miscellaneous items and still left with space. I give 5 stars for weight and space. It is easy to drag this as the wheels are very good and the handle is sufficiently long. The only downside is the handle didn't seem very sturdy. I dragged the luggage for about 20 blocks in NY with my handbag rested on it - so fairly rough use. By the end of the trip the handle was wobbling a little. I will give 2.5 stars for the sturdiness of the handle.

My alternate choice was a Samsonite luggage that was $30 more expensive.

This dress was absolutely stunning in person, pictures do not do it justice at all. The fabrics are quality, the detail is amazing, and it was perfect for the occasion. The problem was when I tried to put it on. Based on the measurements they gave on the site, the size I bought should have fit me just fine, however, when the item arrived, it was a different story. This dress took almost an hour with three people helping and hurting themselves before we wrestled this thing on me, and because of the size discrepancies, the dress would not sit on my frame properly. Still, we managed to get it on, and although it was tight and a bit uncomfortable, I loved the look enough to push through the evening. Overall, I loved the dress, but I was very upset with the misleading size information.
